Wuhan Coronavirus keeps spreading every day and to help its victims, one of the largest crypto exchange announced that they are creating a charity fund of 10 million worth of RMB.
Huobi crypto exchange recently took to Twitter and announced that they decided to establish "Huobi Charity" and set up a 10 million RMB fund. As per the tweet, the fund will help in purchasing protective equipment and donate to the medical staff working at the frontline.
In a tweet, the exchange platform marks that they send love and support to everyone impacted by the coronavirus;
Beside China, the virus has certainly created a sense of fear among the people across the world. In fact, the disease has infected more than 17,000 people with over 350 deaths according to a report. As a result, the supply chains, asset prices, and other multinational businesses experienced a severe decline in China on Monday.
However, Huobi isn't the only crypto firm which is actively helping the victims and medical staff, other firms seem to be working silently behind the scenes. This is quite true in the case of Binance as Binance boss Changpeng Zhao (CZ) tweeted, noting that they didn't make any announcements but the Binance charity fund (BCF) team has been busy for the last few days.
In yet another tweet, CZ also claimed that the same update was also shared with all Binance team members and is being executed.
