Tweeting on May 21, the 3X Olympic Gold Medalist, Christie Pearce Rampone had an amazing conversation with the CEO of Binance America, Catherine Coley on financial fitness. According to her tweet, she has entered crypto-mania after purchasing the very first piece of Bitcoin. 

Christie Pearce Rampone is a former captain of the US Women’s national soccer team. She is a 2-time FIFA Women’s World Cup champion and a 3-time Olympic gold medalist. As per her official website, she currently works as a broadcast analyst for FOX Sports. 

Christie tweeted on Thursday, i.e May 21, stating that the Binance America CEO Catherine Coley discussed with her about the understanding of financial health. She also wrote “I’m ready! I’m in!" adding that she bought her first piece of Bitcoin. 

Bitcoin on Bulletins 

So far, it has been quite an interesting month for the crypto community as two of the famous personalities openly shared their views about Bitcoin - Harry Potter author J.K.Rowling and 3x Olympic Gold Medalist Christie Pearce Rampone. While the former showed interest to understand Bitcoin and later criticised, latter positively marked she is already in.

However, responding to Christie's tweet, Binance's Catherine commented;

On the other side, Bitcoin proponents are passionately celebrating the world’s most expensive fast food order day, i.e Bitcoin Pizza Day on May 22. 

Bitcoin Pizza Day was born after a computer engineer Laszlo Hanyecz aka, ‘Bitcoin Pizza Guy’. He had purchased two Papa John’s pizzas for 10000 BTC on May 22, 2010. Laszlo while speaking with NYTimes in 2013 said;

This day marked the 10th anniversary of the first-ever physical transaction of the world’s largest cryptocurrency which is currently valued at $9165.68.
